Vi på Saltkråkan plot

The Swedish Melkersson family has booked a holiday on the rustic island of Saltkråkan off the coast of Stockholm. Once arrived at the destination, however, the house turns out to be an old ruin, where it rains in on all sides. Father Melker does not give up, however, and starts to repair the house. Meanwhile, the children meet the girl next door Tjorven and her dog Båtsman, with whom they soon become friends. They celebrate the Midsummer Night's Eve, go fishing at sea and get a seal to care for. But then the house threatens to be sold...
