The Flash plot
Forensic scientist Barry Allen has an accident in his lab. A lightning strike drowns Allen in a load of chemicals. These chemicals have an unexpected side effect. With the help of STAR Labs scientist Tina McGee, he discovers that the accident has given him superhuman strength and speed.
