Toast of London plot

Steven Toast is a middle-aged actor who has in the past devoted more time to his private problems than his career. Some bad career choices have left Toast sidetracked and living with a friend, Ed Howzer-Black. In addition, he must deal with his lousy manager and Ray Purchase, his great acting rival.
