Arabian Naitsu: Shinbaddo No Bôken plot

The series is about little Sindbad, who lived more than 1200 years ago in Baghdad, the largest city in Arabia. His best friend is Hassan. Together with him he gets up to a lot of mischief. For example, one evening they sneak into the royal palace to watch the acrobats performing there. This makes Sindbad very curious about the world outside Baghdad. One day, uncle Ali, who is a sailor, comes to visit and he is given the talking beo Sheila as a gift. When uncle Ali leaves again with his ship, Sindbad sneaks on board. That is immediately the beginning of all kinds of adventures that he and Sheila will experience on their travels through strange countries and across great seas.
