Morden i Sandhamn plot
Sandhamn is a Swedish island off the coast of Stockholm. It is an idyllic holiday island where it is quiet outside the summer season. Only about 120 people live here, but as the midsummer night approaches, the population multiplies due to the large numbers of holidaymakers and sailors who come here to enjoy the sun and the sea. When a murder is committed, Inspector Thomas Andreasson springs into action. He is divorced after the death of his first child. He is aided in his investigation by childhood friend Nora Linde, who owns a summer house on Sandhamn. Her private life is not easy for her either, because she has marital problems with her husband Henrik, a doctor who has little patience for his wife's ambitions for a career of her own.

My take on all 7 seasons...
A great series with most of the stories put together quite well. There are certainly some less good plots. Same with tension. The cast is excellent: just about all famous actors and actresses, who can also be seen in various other crime series, have a role in this series. The setting is beautiful. The common thread through all seasons is Nora. In terms of story around her, it is of course unlikely what she is going through. Too bad I thought the change of the detective for season 7. That made that season a little less for me. Also, in the last season, the role of tacky Henrik started to annoy me. As far as I'm concerned, he should have been the victim of a Sandhamn murder in season 6.
