Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures plot

Bill and Ted, the leaders of the rock band "Wyld Stallyns", are guided through time by Rufus, an agent from the future, to meet important figures. This should ensure that they stay on the right path to uniting the world with their music. Rufus uses time travel technology to improve their school performance and teach them more about the future world they will create, as long as they don't cause chaos in the eras they visit. To others this may seem like an educational adventure, but to Bill and Ted it is simply a great adventure!
