The Shadow Trader plot

Auckland, New Zealand, in the 1980s. David Constance is a ruthless property developer. He has big plans for Auckland Harbour. However, there is a cafe in the way. It has just been inherited by two women: Tammy Costello and Joanna McCarthy. Joanna wants to sell the cafe, but Tammy disagrees.
