Choose Earth plot

The series follows French artist and filmmaker Anne de Carbuccia on her ten-year journey (from 2014 to 2024) around the world. She travels to remote and fragile locations—from the glaciers of Nepal and the primeval forests of the Amazon to the depths of the oceans and Lake Baikal in Siberia. She encounters a diverse group of individuals she calls "Earth Protectors": scientists, activists, indigenous leaders, and ordinary citizens who are on the frontlines of ecological collapse. Each episode focuses on a specific aspect of environmental issues and shows how, despite overwhelming challenges, these people are implementing innovative and hopeful solutions to protect their surroundings.
