De Vuurwerkramp plot

The Fireworks Disaster tells the story of the largest explosion in the Netherlands since World War II. On May 13, 2000, a fireworks storage facility of SE Fireworks exploded in a residential area in Enschede, resulting in the complete destruction of the neighborhood. We follow some of those directly involved, from a young student struggling with guilt, a local police officer confronted with a trauma that he has deeply buried and the director of SE Fireworks who tries to rebuild her life amidst reproaches and mistrust. In the meantime, the police search for answers and the mayor tries to keep a grip on a situation that threatens to overwhelm him.

A fictional interpretation with fictional characters doing fictional things. The accident with the fireworks storage has happened and the convictions are largely followed. In the first episode, a red IKEA cupboard passes by. Was it already in their range at the time? The immigrant population is poorly represented, because in reality it was a lot higher than it is now shown.
