Beck plot

Inspector Martin Beck works for the police in Stockholm, Sweden. Together with the eccentric Gunvald Larsson, they work on many murder cases. The defective social structure of the city plays a major role in this. For example, they encounter cases related to the drug world, they have to work with the secret service and they encounter smugglers. But also their own private lives are often involved in their work, so the pressure is very high.

Here on MM, season 9 and season 10 have the same episodes.

Apart from that: they can continue the series, but as far as I'm concerned they can write out grandpa Martin Beck. He's had his best time. The Swedes continue to make excellent crime series like this season of Beck. The stories are well put together and it remains as interesting as ever. Except that the new police officers are a bit too much of a loser...
