Not original, but a solid sequel to season 1. Top Dog is comparable to the large stream of Swedish Mocro Mafia-like series such as Advokaten, Innan Vi Dör and Snabba Cash. With, of course, an intertwining upper and underworld. Unfortunately, Top Dog is not very innovative - or exciting - and collapses considerably from episode 4 onwards with improbabilities and simple violence. Where Snabba Cash exudes a certain freshness, Top Dog is made routine and unimaginative.

Well. Not at all annoying, lots of drama and modern sensitivity, sometimes big explosions of violence. Beautifully filmed and nice soundscape. And yet not super impressive.
