We once again mourn the loneliness of a single mother, still mourning her deceased sister. We once again make big decisions about love. We once again mourn her deceased sister. We once again solve intense cases in youth care, sometimes by going off the beaten track. We also had a lot of laughs at the eldest daughter's wild stories and the youngest's attempts to get her way. It still makes 'Pørni' a delightful mix of poignant realism and feel-good. With an immensely endearing lead role for Henriette Steenstrup as the title character.
