What a wonderful series. Not for the younger viewers among us, but that's what makes the series fun. Wonderfully exaggerated 'gore' effects, dry humor, and exciting every time. By the way, haven't seen the movies, so can't compare the level of the series with the movies.

I had to get into the first episode but then it is quickly hit. Smart comments from Ash, they all look slick and have a good run time per episode. Especially with the medicine man and in the forest hut it's fun. Love both the original movies (especially Evil Dead 2) and the 2013 version, and so does the series.

This was a bit of an unexpected stroke of luck. Horror and comedy, it seems to me one of the most difficult combos that you can make successfully, but here it works wonderfully.
In the first place has a lot to do with the charisma and the fluency of the main character and the side characters who also do their best. The regular use of some gore also helps, especially in combination with cheesy one-liners or puns. I always like no nonsense approach in this genre. In general right up my alley .
Seasons two and three will follow very soon, maybe even today as far as s2 is concerned .
