The exploits of FBI Special Agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) who investigate X-Files: marginalized, unsolved cases involving paranormal phenomena. Mulder believes in the existence of aliens and the paranormal while Scully, a skeptic, is assigned to make scientific analyses of Mulder's discoveries that debunk Mulder's work and thus return him to mainstream cases. They will both have to confront their respective beliefs and faith as they face down major conspiracies.

Now that I've seen all 6 episodes, I have to say that there are significant quality differences between the episodes. Episode 2 is by far the best. Very exciting and mysterious episode. Although a little less I could also appreciate alpha episode 4 and episode 5 still went well. I found Episodes 1 and 6 entertaining, but very far fetched. It also felt a bit strange that episode 6 suddenly stopped at a very unexpected moment. . Finally, episode 3 was very bland and the low point of the season.

The "conspiracy" or common thread episodes were substandard. The individual episodes are familiar again and did taste like a new season.
