I actually had already written this series off after the fourth season. The idea that they had to incorporate the rap scene really felt like useless commercial exploitation. While that link with Samurai Apocalypse and Kali are indeed the weakest links of the season, thankfully they've done it in a way that it's not going to take over. There are more than enough comic finds that have nothing to do with those caricatural fake gangsters. Have to say that it is mainly the supporting roles of Stu, Richard Bates, Tyler Durden, and others that make the season very worthwhile. Some of the fun and enthusiasm has returned to the series. Too bad the season finale is disappointing.
