Meanwhile arrived at episode 6 (looking out) and mixed feelings. Where "the boat part" is quite captivating and exciting, I have my doubts about the "on land part". This is where reality is regularly taken for granted. In the German command post in what is nevertheless a strategically important port city, it turns out that not a single German speaks French, so that the Gestapo chief has to call on a "brand new" translator for every intervention. Who doesn't even work at headquarters yet, but apparently can commute all day long between her "sweetheart" in the resistance, the church, the sister-in-law who has a child from her brother and her office. In addition, there appears to be no curfew (resistance fighters walk freely on the street at night, no soldiers in sight) and there is also no night shift at the command post office, which means that the "translator" can walk in and out of the headquarters in the middle of the night to access and/or steal important files. Fortunately, what takes place on the U-boat is of a very high level, otherwise I would have already dropped out. So just catch the last two episodes, next week on Canvas.
