Mocro Maffia plot

Romano and his men have had a successful cocaine trade in Amsterdam for years. However, when 'the Pope' starts working for himself after a quarrel, a major conflict arises between Romano and the Pope. Writer Rein de Waard and journalist Matthijs follow the situation closely. Both sides do everything they can to save their business, which leads to murders, conspiracies and betrayal. Things get even more out of hand when the Pope kills "Pencil"'s betrothed and baby.

Overall, I thought the series was decent. Some pieces really went into the ffwdd. The series undercover fascinated more than this series.

What is well portrayed is how this kind of criminals view a human life and that is unfortunately not far from reality. Sad.

Mocro drama would have been a better title, because this first season is little more than a boring, uninteresting drama in which the characters are 'groaning' at each other all the time. There is some action, but not enough to keep the momentum going. It is also impossible to sympathize with these scum, which makes it difficult to empathize with the personal development of the characters. I wish they could all be put through the meat grinder in the first episode.
