Trails End plot
"Johnny's guns upset a murder frame-up... in the land of the mother-lode!"
Drake discovers gold on the ranch of his boss, Joe Stuart, and makes a deal with rogue lawyer Mel Porter to get him to sell it. However, Joe refuses and also orders Bill Cameron not to see his daughter Laurie again. Frontman Johnny Mack quits after seeing Stuart hit Laurie while they argue over her proposed marriage to Cameron. Peddler Alibi then witnesses the murder of Stuart by Clem Kettering, who has been hired by Porter, and is imprisoned. Blamed for Stuart's murder, Cameron escapes from prison, but is persuaded by Johnny to go back and face trial. Johnny saves Alibi and the two team up to clear Cameron's name and bring the real culprits to justice.
