Lee Tate is a villain who kills Dick and Bob Ames' father. Bob is taken by Tate and raised as his son. Later, Dick returns to the area where Jeff Graves and his daughter Amy are being tyrannized by Tate. Dick stands up for them and then recognizes in Tate the murderer of his father.
