The Lone Bandit plot

Lane Cartwright arrives in town and is immediately arrested. They are convinced that he is the mysterious Phantom Bandit. Lane is acquitted by the sheriff, but is arrested again when he stumbles upon the body of a dead man. This time they are sure they have the real Phantom, but at the hearing, the real Phantom strikes and Lane goes after him.
