The Galloping Kid plot

Simplex Cox is hired by "Five-Notch" Arnett to keep his daughter from getting along with men who are no good. Helen Arnett is a flirt and falls for every man she meets except Simplex Cox. Helen falls for Fred Bolston, a slippery slope of the impure waters. Simplex discovers that Bolston has shady plans to take possession of Arnett's land by marrying his daughter. Simplex tries to expose Bolston as a man with two faces, much to Helen's dismay. Bolston discovers that Arnett's land is worth more than commonly believed and puts more pressure on his efforts to take possession of the land.
