The Conqueror plot
Biographical film that tells the story of Sam Houston. Houston goes from completely unknown person to governor of Tennessee. There he comes into conflict over his refusal to go to war with the Cherokee, his Native American friends. He is 'banished' to Texas and turns that state into a true kingdom with himself as the reigning monarch.
