The Bargain plot

The bandit Jim Stokes robs a stagecoach, but is injured in the process. He recovers during his time on a ranch and falls in love with the daughter of the house. They marry, but his desire to walk the right path from now on is complicated by the fact that he is recognized when he wants to return stolen money. He ends up in jail and the sheriff then loses the stolen money at a roulette table.
