Sundown Saunders plot
Jim 'Sundown' Saunders wins a horse race and is paid with a ranch deed. Arriving at the ranch, he notices that the ranch is already inhabited by the Preston family. The Prestons have bought the ranch from Taggart, an impostor who poses as an agent selling tracts of land. Taggart then accuses Saunders of a murder he committed himself. Saunders is seen as a suspect, since he recently had an argument with the man.
