Wicked rancher Matt Stevens of Montana wants to take possession of the territory of the neighboring Milford Ranch at all costs. Stevens, with the help of corrupt hotel owner Henry Brooks, prevents the cattle dealers from doing business with John Milford, leaving him unable to pay his bills. The cattle dealer Larry Carson arrives in town and he just manages to prevent an attempt on his life. Larry manages to prevent a theft of cattle owned by John Milford and captures an injured cattle thief. This cattle thief confesses to being an accomplice of Stevens. Larry must now find a way to expose Stevens, with the support of John Milford's attractive daughter Dale.
