Silver Trails plot
Willard Jackson tries an easy way to land by provoking a fight between the original inhabitants of California and the pioneers. He makes forged title deeds of stolen land allocation documents. The rightful owners are murdered by his gang. He hands the forged papers into the hands of the pioneers. When Don Miquel is found dead, Jose Esteban accuses the pioneers of murder, cheating and illegally taking land from the original inhabitants. Jimmy Wakely, initially charged with the murder, and his partner "Cannonball" try to resolve the conflict and arrest the person responsible for the unrest in the area.
