"SENSATION OF THE WEST! Everybody's Talkin' About Jimmy's Songs And His Fights!"
Jimmy Wakely, with his assistants Lasses and Dusty, is hired to solve the mysterious murder of US Marshal Tom Logan. The marshal was murdered on a so-called "guestranch" (a ranch where tourists can get a taste of ranch life), while a bunch of new tourists have just arrived. There are plenty of suspects, including a couple of jewel thieves and the scrupulous Roy Williams, half owner of the ranch.
