Rough and Ready plot

When his lover Evelyn Durant (Violet Palmer) kicks him out, Bill Stratton (William Farnum) leaves for Klondike as a prospector. He is lucky and gets rich quickly and thus an important and influential person in the city. Meanwhile, Evelyn goes through hard times when her father, a wealthy mine owner, goes bankrupt. Willing to forgive and forget, Stratton helps the old man start over, prompting the two old lovers to renew their relationship.
