Roaring Westward plot
"BOOM TOWN BAD MEN STRIKE ON THE SAVAGE GOLD FRONTIER!"
Cowboy Jimmy Wakely presents the stallion "Spooky" to 16-year-old Perry, who is staying at his Aunt Jessica's ranch while on vacation. The prospector "Mossy" Stevens is murdered by Sanders and his gang. Pursued by Marshal Bill Braden, Sanders forces Perry to change clothes with him and Sanders takes off on Perry's new horse. Perry gives chase to Sanders but is shot by the marshal who thinks he is the bandit he was chasing. Jimmy Wakely infiltrates the gang to try to clear Perry's name.
