Lightnin' Bill Carson plot
Deputy Bates manages to get hold of mobster Hawkins after Stone's gang rob the stagecoach. Hawkins then manages to kill the deputy sheriff. Stone convinces the drunken Pecos Kid that he committed the murder. Bill Carson extracts a confession that Hawkins is the murderer, but he can't stop the sheriff having already hanged Pecos Kid. Pecos Kid's brother takes revenge and kills the sheriff and his men. Bill Carson sets out to find the killer.
