Hoedown plot
"Eddy's Singiest, Swingiest, Shootin'est Screen Show!"
Western actor Stoney Rhodes is fired from the film company because he cannot sing. Accompanied by journalist Vera Wright, Stoney travels south. Stoney joins the 'Hoedown' dance company of Eddy Arnold and his Country & Western band. When bank robbers raid the troupe and their sponsor, Stoney discovers he can't do much without his stuntmen. Stoney's co-star Carolina Cotton manages to entice him to take on the bank robbers.
