Ghost Valley plot

"A Dare-devil Cowboy finds his fortune but loses his heart amid weird mystery!"

Jerry Long and Jane Worth inherit from Peter Long a territory that includes the abandoned mining town of Boom City. Jerry is the adopted son of Peter Long and he has never met Jane Worth. Judge J. Drake of Kona Lake, the administrator of Peter Long, knows that there is still gold to be mined in Boom City. He asks Jane, who doesn't know, if he can buy the city. But she also wants to know Jerry's opinion, which Drake hasn't been able to trace yet. Drake therefore plans to intimidate Jane and hires Gordon to do it. Jane is soon frightened and willing to leave, but Jerry, who has already met Jane's Aunt Susan Trumpett, wants to stay and investigates the matter.
