"BULLETS ARE THEIR CALLING CARDS! Gun-Totin' Fools...and Quick On the Trigger !"
The "Independent Smelting Company" is in danger of going bankrupt as their transports are robbed. Elkhorn Mine owner Ma Donovan enlists the help of Texas Rangers Tex Wyatt, Jim Steele and Panhandle Perkins. They are told by Frank Burke, the manager of the mining company, that if things continue like this, they will be forced to do business with the Rio Grande Corporation. This cooperative is led by Dan Wakely. Joan Manning, owner of the Independent Smelting Company comes over from the east and her fiancé Paul Jackson advises her to sell the business to Dan Wakely. During a meeting with the Texas Rangers, Joan asks Paul to make an inventory of the company to sell it and he tells her it's worthless financially. Texas Ranger Tex Wyatt suggests that the mine owners should use this information to file for bankruptcy. They follow this advice and have a statement prepared that Tex Wyatt is taking over the company.
