Empty Holsters plot

Ace Cain owns just about everything except the bank, which John Ware owns. Ace also has his eye on Judy, who in turn is only interested in Clay. To be rid of Clay as a rival, Ace raids the stagecoach and makes his henchmen swear Clay was the culprit. Clay goes behind bars for 10 years, but is released after 5 years for good behavior. Then he goes looking for the man who did this to him, but is bothered by the sheriff who takes his weapons away from him because of his alleged criminal past. Unarmed, Clay becomes an easy target for Ace's gang.
