Deadline plot

"SUNSET CARSON and his horse CACTUS,JR. Ride again!"

Since there isn't enough work for him on the Pony Express, Sunset Carson transfers to Martha Taylor and her brother Tom's telegraph company. Martha and Tom are terrorized by their competitor 'Walt Mattox' Yucca Pictures Corporation'. Martha's foreman Grant Dawson along with local rancher Spade Gilbert sabotage Martha's telegraph poles. Sunset and Tom catch Trigger and Pete, two of Gilbert's outlaws, removing Martha's telegraph poles and they are able to overpower them. Sunset warns Martha that there is a traitor on her team.
