Copper Sky plot
"Two against a thousand blood-crazed Apache savages ...trapped under a flaming sky of HATE!"
Former cavalryman and alcoholic Hack Williams has been arrested for killing an Apache, which was not his intention. City residents, fearing reprisals from the Apaches, plan to hang Williams in hopes of preventing an attack. But the Apache attack soon takes place and Hack, trapped in his cell, is the sole survivor of the Apache massacre. Boston schoolteacher Nora Haynes arrives in town shortly after this massacre. Together with Williams, Nora must try to get to safety before a second attack from the Apaches arrives. But Nora and Williams don't like each other at all and this doesn't make their escape route through the desert any easier.
