Avalanche plot

Jack Dunton (Jack Holt), a gambler who only played fair, starts cheating at cards. He needs money to pay for his foster son's mining school. As a thank you for this noble gesture, foster son Verde (John Darrow) runs off with Jack's friend Grace Stillwell (Olga Baclanova). When the two lovers find themselves in an avalanche, the kind-hearted and forgiving Jack saves both their lives.
