Pyos Ryzhiy plot
On the eastern front, German troops attack a Red Army field hospital in 1941, destroying it and killing many people. The soldiers try to fight back, but have to retreat. Among them is the young pilot Vyacheslav with his dog Red. After surviving the German attack, they are sent to the front line where Red will prove his mettle.
