Leute mit Flügeln plot

On the runway is a new type of aircraft, the pride of all involved. Among them Ludwig Bartuschek. This smart and steadfast man sees himself reflected in flashbacks from his past... It is the end of the Weimar Republic: General Director Dehringer wants to train Ludwig in the 'Hawk-Aircraft' as an aircraft manufacturer and thus offer him protection against the nazis. In return, however, Ludwig must give up his political beliefs as a communist. But Bartuschek decides to go underground and says goodbye to his wife and child. Little does he know that his departure will take more than a decade.
