La Bataille plot

A young Japanese naval officer gains the trust of an English observer to uncover the secrets of English strategy. In addition, he is accompanied by his wife, whom he also brutally treats. The woman and the English officer fall in love, which allows the Japanese to force the Englishman to surrender command at the supreme moment during a naval battle.
