Ich Will Euch Sehen plot

In 1941 in Belarus, farmer and soldier Fritz Schmenkel deserts from the Wehrmacht because he wants to survive the war. Through Russian peasants he comes into contact with the partisans, who interrogate him endlessly before they even trust him a little. With daring actions, Schmenkel tries to prove that he can be trusted.
