Berliner Ballade plot

In the year 2048, the successful TV show "The Ancients" decides to dedicate an episode about life in Germany over a hundred years ago. More specifically about the life of Otto Normalverbraucher. An old SS soldier who returns to Germany after World War II. But Otto also discovers that the consequences are sometimes worse than the disaster itself. For the country that was once Germany has fallen prey to death and anarchy. Moreover, the empire is in a terrifying coup d'état by a new superpower: the "Soviet Union".
