Akai Tsuki plot
Morita (Tokiwa Takako) and her husband run a sake brewery in Manchuria at the end of World War II. Business is going well, thanks in part to the help of an ex-boyfriend of Morita, who is a high-ranking officer in Manchuria. Morita is a high-spirited woman who also has an affair with a secret agent active in the region. Then the brewery is burned down by the acts of war and her husband leaves her. As a single mother, Morita must now make ends meet.
