Wild Cactus plot

"In the desert, no one can escape the heat."

Philip and Alex's marriage is on a downward spiral. Philip is a professor specializing in desert plants. His boss assigns him an important assignment, for which he spends six weeks doing research in a vacation home in Arizona. Alex hopes the sojourn in the desert will rekindle their relationship. Not far from them, Randall Miller is released. This very dangerous man is out for revenge and does not shy away from anyone or anything. He starts his way across the desert to find his prey, picking up Maggie along the way. When Philip and Alex's paths cross with Randall and Maggie, a sweet friendship initially seems to develop.
