The School Duel plot

In the near future, troubled thirteen-year-old Sammy is recruited to compete in a deadly, nationwide competition. The event is the government’s solution to combating school shootings after gun control went wild. Drawn to the promise of fame and acceptance, Sammy, an outcast, is driven by a sense of justice and misplaced patriotism. As he enters the battlefield against his mother’s wishes, Sammy slowly begins to understand what is at stake.
