The Hideout plot
Insurance inspector Steve Curry comes into possession of a suitcase containing £8,000 after a robbery at the 'Rex Hotel' in London. A gang of criminals who want the money stops Curry at the airport. But he has already passed the money on to his friend Tim Bowers, with the intention of returning it to its rightful owner. Curry and Bowers try to find the owner of the suitcase. Their search leads them to the beautiful Helen Grant, who reveals that the money would be used by her brother, the shadowy furrier Robert Grant to buy a batch of smuggled furs. Curry and Bowers learn that these furs are infected with anthrax and could cause a deadly epidemic in the capital.
