"This doctor's a killer. Is the woman tracking him his next patient or his next victim?"

Kathy DeMaio (Lauren Hutton) is a public prosecutor. When she witnesses a murder, she uncovers a sinister and unethical plot surrounding Dr. Edgar Highley's (James Farentino) juvenile extension investigation. Because of Dr. Highley's reputation, no one wants to believe her story. However, her friend Dr. Richard Carroll (Ben Murphy), the coroner at the same hospital, also has his doubts about Dr. Highley's research. When Dr. Highley finds out that Kathy could jeopardize his job, her life is no longer safe.
