"Thriller"

When Janine comes over from France to work as an au pair for Keith and Melanie Bauer, she is a pale, unattractive girl. But thanks to Melanie's good care, the shy Janine turns into an irresistible beauty. But this change has disastrous consequences. While Melanie suffers a sudden stroke, Melanie's sister makes an alarming discovery, which she must pay with death. Laney, a close friend of Melanie's, suspects a dirty game is being played and calls in Police Officer Ryker to investigate. This one encounters a web of lies and intrigue and a dark past full of murder and deadly greed.
