Making a Killing plot

Jake Summers has a passionate relationship with Madie, the wife of his best friend Chad. During one of their dates, they hear a scream. While Jake is investigating, someone breaks into his apartment and kills Madie. When Chad has to pay off debts, Jake tries to help him out of conscience. The money from Madie's life insurance policy could solve the problems. Only her body was never found and without a body there is no payment. While visiting his former boss Vic Travis' video studio, Jake gets an idea. What if the murder had taken place in the studio and one of the cameras had recorded the crime? Instant proof of Madie's death. Jake hatches a plan. Vic will get married and his wife will be the next victim. Only the murder will be staged for the cameras. Vic resists at first, but after a look at his future wife, Jake's ex-girlfriend, the beautiful Sarah Holdings, rehearsals can begin.
