Homesick plot

The young couple Jessica and Lorenz move into a spacious apartment in a bleak apartment district in Berlin. Jessica is a talented cellist who is selected for an important competition in Moscow. But the euphoria is short-lived. Is Jessica imagining it or are the upstairs neighbors trying to bully her and Lorenz away in every possible way? She feels peeped, finds a turd on the doormat and hears tapping against heating pipes at night. Slowly but surely, the unrest builds until Jessica makes a drastic decision.
